The power of emotions

Driven by an interest in understanding and communicating the child's inner world, she created the website www.opoderdasemocoes.com.br, a pioneering project that addresses children's emotional development through play, games, illustrated strips, educational activities, polls, and guidance for parents and teachers.

Here, symbols representing emotions were well-defined. These were emojis of joy, fear, anger, sadness, love, etc., which were named through activities where the child easily recognized what they were feeling.

In this space, Rampazzo translates the “human internal” into images and characters, giving form to the invisible — feelings, conflicts, and emotional states — so that they can be recognized, understood, and integrated into the collective consciousness. By making visible what is often abstract, she contributes to expanding emotional perception and positively influencing attitudes and behaviors.

In 1992, the magazine "Playing with Emotion" was launched with playful activities guiding children to name their emotions in simple everyday situations.

Still within the website The Power of Emotions, 23 emotion symbols were defined, all properly registered at the School of Fine Arts of Rio de Janeiro, and the "TURMA DO É" (The "IS" GANG) was formed. There were 23 characters, and each one had the name of an emotion as its proper name. The "IS" Gang had the character Fear, the character Love, the character Anger, the character Joy, the character Sad, and so on with all 23 emotions.
